The youngest Feadship on the market was delivered in 2021, with a full refit in 2024 to make her look as fresh as the day she first launched. Somnium’s hull is built of lightweight aluminium, making her fuel efficient and perfect for swift transatlantic cruising – and giving her a streamlined, contemporary aesthetic by De Voogt Naval Architects that draws on the previous owner’s passion for high-performance cars. Her interior is imaginative indeed. Taking inspiration from the Galápagos Islands, FM Architettura has used colours and textures that mirror the beauty of the archipelago, with bespoke carpets that remind you of lagoons, floors and tabletops with cracked surfaces mirroring the earth, and ceilings that mimic shimmering water. The main salon cocoons you with luxurious cosy spaces and intimate niches, while the dining room ramps up the style further: the custom light fitting is reminiscent of the scales of the Galápagos wildlife, while bronze tables that recall the islands’ dry terrain, and a bespoke leather dining table with an embossed bronze top draws all the elements together.

The hallway continues the connection to nature, with stunning textured panels depicting leaves caught in the wind, making for a gloriously tactile experience. The upper deck saloon is perfect for family movie nights or unwinding in casual comfort, with huge doors onto an al fresco dining area.

Somnium comfortably accommodates ten guests in five charming staterooms, each with its own distinct character, including a twin with bunk beds for the children. The owner’s suite is sumptuous, from the warm, earthy colour palette to the tactility of fabrics, resulting in an inviting and very liveable space. From here, a private balcony allows for calm relaxation and stunning views. There is also accommodation for up to 14 crew.

The sense of style continues outside, with a series of generous spaces. Running to 100 square metres, the foredeck is a versatile space for lounging and entertaining – or you can simply make use of the sunbathing bed equipped with windshield and while away the time with unobstructed views. The sundeck has a jacuzzi and collection of sunpads that set the tone for total relaxation. At the stern is the beach club, pool and newly equipped gym, with the tender store cleverly located on the foredeck to maximise the use of space.
